What are the reasons for not posting prices on here when people ask?  A lot of people always say they will PM with the details.  Why the secrecy?

it's a privacy thing I think.  Personally if I don't buy a calf at a public sale, its nobody's business what I pay for the calf.

Prices are almost always negotiable so putting a price on isn't worth its ink.  If you are really interested in something, give someone a call.  For casual lookers, its none of our business.  Besides, you'd wonder if it was true or not.

Prices are almost always different when you are dealing with a person that shows up at your place with a trailer.

Chambero, well said (clapping)
We could all post prices, then read the next 10 replies about how that is too cheap or too expensive.  If someone is interested enough to call or email for a price I will give it. but would much rather negotiate in person than via the internet.
