Calf is about three days old and stands and walks on back ankles. Wondering if anybody has had this problem and has suggestions on what to do.I thought after a couple of days it would straighten up but so far no luck. I wrapped them this evening and she seemed to stand on her feet a little better but when she walked it was on her ankles. Thanks in advance!

Had the same issue with a heifer in nov. I put a calf splint on her legs. It took a week befor she could get weight on them. And a few week for all her weight Looking at her now, you would never know.

Is she walking on the front side or back side? In either case it sounds like contracted tendons and splinting will help - don't put it on too tight - pad with cotton and check to make sure that foot btwn toes is warm -
