I have a simple math calf that is reallly nice, made nice, lot of bone,  but he has a really big front right knee joint that is kind of bucked over.  He kinda favors the other leg slightly when he walks, he has a lot of bone and this a big joint.  He is fine on his rear wheels.  Anything that can be done to improve this?  Ive heard of Bo-se of MU-se to help with joints, I guy also told me to give him 50 cc of LA 200, because the joint probably has some inflamation.  Any thoughts?  Thanks for information in advance.

You are kidding - right? Someone tells you that they "had the same problem" and you are therefore going to give an antibiotic drug extra label (and since you do not have a veterinarian involved illegally) to your calf because of a message board?? really?? If the right joint is bigger than the other how do you  know he doesn't have a septic joint??

How old is this calf and what does it weigh?

I didn't say I was going to rush right out and do that, I have talked to a few people around and received the same advice, not Vets, but been in the cattle business a long time.  250 - 300 lb calf. - 2Months old.  I need to get him in the chute and see if the joint is soft or hard I would say.  What advice would you have DL?

I would almost guarantee this is septic arthritis or an injury. I would get your vet out because it has probably been this way for a while if he's 2 months old. We always use label directions of nuflor gold for septic arthritis with great luck...as per my VET'S instructions! That la200 dose seems very high, you are likely to get pretty good scours with it.
