Calf wont gain

I have a steer that is not gaining as good as I need him to. Right now he is getting 25 lbs. of masterfeed. He is roughly 1100 lbs right now. We just ordered some flaked corn as a top dress. The show is in April. We are thinking he will be around 1250-1275 which is a decent weight but he just isnt filling out behind his front legs and his flank as good as we would like. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

For one you shouldn't be feeding him that much. He should be hungry for the next feeding, not starving just ready for the next feeding. You could also try GOLDON FLO from sullivans he will put that cover on right behind his shoulders, It is expesive but well worth it !
