I know this topic has been discussed in depth and i have searched and read everything i can find. My question is if i want to breed a couple Shorthorn cross heifers is a calving ease Maine Anjou as safe as a CE Angus? I want one that looks like a bull, as close to a Pure Bred as possible.
I am pretty new to all this, i was thinking Gigolo Joe might be a good one? is it still more risky than an Angus? Any suggestions? How do i even know which Maine Anjou's are pure bred? i also have a couple Pure bred Herefords that i am planning on going Angus on for some nice F1 baldies, any bull suggestions?
