Our ice chest cow calved last night and had a huge sunseeker bull calf. The calf had to be jacked out because it was so big, and now his hind legs are really weak. He is getting around ok but he is having a hard time picking the back right leg up. He is getting better each day but I want to make sure that he wont be affected by this in the future because he looks pretty good. Thanks.

see the calf can get around and is sucking on its own now, but one of his back legs he just doesn't pick it up right. He kind of drags it.

HAd one do the same thing, Vet said he pinched a nerve during birth. Never came out of it. We finaly made hamburg out of him at about 800lbs cause he couldn't get around. If I had to do it over I would of put him down early on. Sorry and good luck
