We have a heifer that we AI'd  and 21 days later she was in standing heat again so we AI'd again then 18 days later she was
acting like she was in heat again and the steers were trying to mount her but she would not stand and now 21 days later she
is doing the same thing she appears to be in heat but won't stand.  Should we AI her again or is this a false heat.

We have a heifer similar to yours. She was AI'd and tested pregnant via a blood test 30
days later. She showed signs of heat on day 32, so we put her out with the bull. She could have slipped the embryo but I wouldn't be surprised if she calves on the AI date.

I have had hfrs. cycle all summer and when it vet pregs, they call them up to AI date.  The next spring they calve on their AI date. So, don't sell without having them checked.

Could be bred. Might not be.

Ultrasound her for sure. Sometimes they cycle on the opposite side of the pregnancy....

She could be. If she was bred, and she showed a false heat, and you AI'd her again, you killed the pregnancy and didn't breed her the second time.

I was going to say that I thought if they stuck...a cervical plug is formed in cervix then if you break thye natural formed plug the pregnancy would be terminated. Been a long time but seems like one insemenator recomended just starting straw into cervix and releasing semen but not passing tube through cervix. This may be wrong also.

JMO, but if she is regularlly standing @ approx. 21 day intervals, she's more than likely not bred. If she were mine, I would breed her if she is in standing heat and it sounds like she may want to try a bull. Good Luck
