Attached are the results from this year's CWA show and sale. Thank you to all the buyers and bidders.  The crowd for this years sale was the largest I have ever seen.  The traffic by the stall this year was amazing. The show was okay for us we never stood last but we never cracked the top 3 but the sale was very good this year for us the highest aveage we have ever had.
Too bad the Market Steer Show was cancelled I heard that there was only 9 steers entered and 4 of them were coming from the USA.  Hopefully they will get something sorted out with the market steer show.

Hadn't seen the averages yet, that sure looks good.  I imagine next year will be full right up on steer entries.  I think the high calf prices artificially inflated the real value of alot of the calves.  The heifers were probably as deep and solid a set as has ever been brought out.  Originally I thought the low number of steers would lead to an increase in quality, but IMO there were still 10 or so that really didn't belong.
Heard the next day that Troy Polyock was there wonder what he thought of the Highliner calves represented?  I know he talked to one of the buyers of a Highliner calf and inquired as to what their plans were for the calf.
