Any thoughts on this bull. Are his calves going to be able to compete in the show ring?

I personally like the bull, think he's sound, soggy, and cool to look at, thing I noticed on the one I had was she was a tick short fronted, and not the biggest calf youll see. If you were to use him I'd say he's going to be used on a bigger framed, longer fronted cow that needs some middle. The heifer below is a capiche x salute/double stuff

Is he hiefer safe?

Yes.

There are better JPJ sons out there.  The best thing Capiche has going for him is the fact that a semen company owns him- thus they have familiarized the public w/ his name.

I have used him on some Firewater daughters and have some very appealing F1 calves. They were all born below 80 lbs. (all of them bulls, now steers). I would agree that they need longer stride. They have had decent growth compared to Capiche's low WW. I'm pleased so far.

I had a white heifer calf out of an Ace of Diamonds cow Valentines day. She was 67 lbs. She doesn't look like much now but I hope she will grow.
