I traveled to Kansas this past weekend and seen the first Captain Morgan calves I have heard about, one heifer from the first ranch and the second ranch had seven 3 smokeys and 4 blacks, out of black cows, all were big boned and thick with ton's of hair, and all were stamped with the same look. It is hard to tell a whole lot as the oldest ones were 10 days old.

The best thing about those pics for me was the spralling wide open BARE ground calving pasture. It's been a long long old winter. Very nice looking set of calves. Thanks for thr post. Brent
