Results of cause of death will be announced soon, the vet who did the autopsy took some tissue samples at this point it looks inconclusive and most likely due to old age.

If you are serious about the club calf industry call the major distributors or the Trausch representatives to order semen today it is in high demand and limited quantity and will be worth having in your tank as an investment!

Could be a great chance for the owners of Pretty Snazzy to promote the replacement bull for Carpe Diem perhaps.

I agree, guessing Pretty Snazzy will be used quite a bit more now than before.

Carpe Diem arrived here at Trausch Farms only 3 weeks ago and was ailing when he arrived.  He was simply failing as an older bull (he was 6.5) who was used heavily.  It happens alot with club calf bred bulls.  If you have any further questions regarding Carpe Diem, please direct your questions to Greg Kroupa, Shane Boysel or Chris Wilson.

As for Chasin' Tail.  Fred Campbell (breeder of Fast Freddy) leased him last year and has some nice calves out of him.  Give him a call if you want to know about the calves.  He was also the clean up bull on Trausch Farms cows this year so there should be quite a few calves out of him next spring.

he couldn't have been older than 3-5

Welp, I'll take that back... I guess either time flys, or he was an older bull when he came onto the scene.

but then again, My guess of 5 wasn't that far off...

btw. was the 6.5, exactly 6 years 6 months?  Or was it more like 5 1/4 ;D

6.5 generally means six and a half

5 and 1/4 is five years and 3 months, so if he was 6.5 (considering 6 months is .5) i would say he is around 6 years and 6 months, since you like to argue about everything, and changed your name from the false to sheps and shorthorns

you must not follow my posts very closely...

I first changed my name to "another self promoting, lying shorthorn breeder" just becuase I wanted to fit in with some of the shorthorn visitors to this site.

I changed it over, as I made my point.

Maybe I should change my username again- just for you?

You could go with:

"I only have hate and contempt for clubby bulls and the people who use them, and Heat Wave is a fake as well as his Sons and Clones." ;)

We would know who it is.
