Were building a new cattle barn and I wanted to know if anyone knew of any websites that showed some functional designs.
Thanks for your help.

You could probably get some good ideas from the Hall Of Fame forum under building a new barn. See there are a few who built but never posted pics of their finished building.
And they are correct that you can never have enough room, power and ventilation. The more ideas you have the better you can build your own to suit your operation.

Here is a link to a farm with a really nice set up.  There is a barn shot on the right and if you click on it it will show a bigger picture.  They are friends of ours from the cutting horse pen so they took some concepts from the big horse farms in TX and used them in thier design.  This barn ahs been there 20+ years.  The show barn has a main feed aisle with pipe runs on both sides.  Can use pipe panels.  The barn has ceiling fans for circulation as well as turbo fans set for each run.  The barn has garage doors in each run so it is easy to open the barn up or shut it down for bad weather.  This one is a "T" design and the spare area to the right is used for feed, hay and has a nice office to which they built it sturdy enough to have hay or show equipment up top.

We have a 24 by 60 three sided barn with 12 by 40 ft runs.  We have 4 runs with the first one with a garage door and lined with rubber matts for tack and feed.  Serves us very well  for show calves and for calving.  We drop a tarp on the run we calve in if it is very cold.  We built it ourselves from a kit from Menards.  Our horse barn is a Cleary-nothing wrong with the materials but the crew was terrible and we not skilled at all.  Our indoor was put up by a local barn builder 72 by 120 and took 2 weeks.  Horse barn 40 by 80 to 8 weeks.
