Hello!  I have a Mainetainer heifer that is extremely good.  Her only flaw is that if she is trailered to long, she has a tendency to roach up in her top, and she is extreme tender over her spine.  She still hits her holes and is fluid in her movements.  This is the only thing that's hurting her in shows.  Any suggestions on how to fix this....would chiropractic care help her?  I live in Western Kansas so finding one within close range is becoming difficult if not impossible!  Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

How does the trailer ride? Do you have any mats in there to make her more comfortable? Are you tieing her up for the long rides or bedding the floor and allowing her to lie down?

Floors are matted, with thick bedding on top of it.  We only make her stand if we are traveling short distances....an hour or less.  We've even gone as far as to leave the night before a show to let her get there and stretch out, etc.  She has this problem most of the time....the trailer rides just make it worse.

Where at in western Kansas?  There is a lady we use that would travel the western 1/3 of the state, say Hays west.  You can PM if you prefer.
