CDIR Device and AI

I am planning on artificially inseminating my cows and a heifer. I want to get the timing right on when they will be AI'd. What CDIR device would you recommend I use? We are also doing the same with a few goats we have, and there is a shot that they need to get after you remove the CDIR device to bring them in to heat, is this also the case with cattle? and if so, what is the shot that i would have to give them to bring them in to heat? This is the first time I am going this route with my cattle and would really appreciate any advise and guidance. Thank you.
