Going to collect him next week. He tested good and had a Scrotal Circumference of 34. Again he is 11 months old. Born 4-21-2014.

Very nice bull! One of these days I'm going to breed a few of my red purebred Simmys to a good Charolais, think they would be really cool 1/2 bloods

Had him tested this week and the vet said he looked really good. Hopefully he will be able to freeze some. What keeps them from being able to freeze it.

I'm no expert but I think it has to do with tails and deformities. Usually they freeze but it's after the thaw to check mobility that the problem arises.

We have checked quite a few Char and Angus and some X Bred bulls, maturity and feeding to good are two of worse culprits to  not testing ....Some Angus bulls are ruined
from feeding to hard , on the other side if they are slow maturing it will also cause them not to pass ....No expert but sure have seen some problems over the year's in Charolais  but have made great improvement's in this in that breed and are also better disposition than some .....  Today though  we have the ability to add ingredients to feed or shot's to help with their ability to not breed back  or test ....
