I bet if 100 people viewed the photo 75% would guess the bulls age at over a yearling.....because of the neck and the muscularity....is that a word?
Definition of MUSCULARITY

: the quality or state of being muscular

mus·cu·lar (msky-lr)
adj.
1. Of, relating to, or consisting of muscle: muscular contraction.
2. Having well-developed muscles: a muscular build.

Your cattle do not possess this, thats why it a foreign word to you.

Any pics of the Wentworth bull?

yes

Thanks. I googled it but didn't come up with anything. I'm just curious what the sire or dam of this calf look like. When I first saw the pic I thought he was at least a yearling. If okotoks says the calf is 6 months old I have no reason to think otherwise.

What would happen if you put Wentworth on some commercial cows (black angus or so). I'm thinkin' you would get an awesome pen of market steers! Especially if his calves have muscling like that (thumbsup)

Vanridge we have bull customers that would like the heavier muscled shorthorn bulls to put across Angus commercial cows. I think they will be pleased with the pounds they would get off Wentworth and his sons.

I was at Northern Shorthorns last week and took some photos. Great people and great scenery and some impressive cattle (thumbsup)
