Its never to early to be looking at next years breeding season. This year I have a heat wave x whiskey heifer that I don't really know what to breed to. She is smaller framed that's for sure. She will probably only get up to about 1100lbs. But she is really thick, sound as a cat, really deep and bold sprung and is nice and angular fronted. I was thinking I80 but I'm not for sure because I've heard his calves are samller framed and she is already small framed. Any suggestions would be great. I've heard good things about the grandmaster simmi bull but can't find any info on him. I don't really care what breed the bull is as long as the calf is marketable and show worthy... so no red angus or gelbvieh... stuff like that. She is a really terminal heifer but she is really maternal at the same time. Thanks!

well since she's a heifer- and your only interested in a marketable, show worthy calf...

I would throw calving ease out the window=---- and line her back up HW...
Pick out a grandson to mate her to, I personally have always had great luck with the daughter x grandson mating scheme.
