Christmas Gift Advice for Retired Farmer

  Looking for ideas on good farm magazines or books  for a Retired farmer in their 80s . He already gets Our Iowa and loves it  but hoping for additional suggestions. Thanks in advance for any ideas.

Not sure if he's a fan of his neighboring state, but Nebraska Life is a really cool magazine also....Great colored pictures and lots of stories about the small towns in the state....$21 for a year (bi-monthly).

Everyone likes it at the bank....

Depending on your price range:  Small portable weather station (every farmer, regardless of age, keeps up to date on the weather!)
                                                Any book by James P Owens Examples include "The Try", "Cowboy Ethics", or "Cowboy Values" (I would recommend those for ANY age, ANY career!)

The John Deere magazines with the old tractors, you see them here at the TSC stores.  Antique farming also.
