Cleaning clipper blades.

I took my blades apart to clean them.  What is a good cleaner to use on them.

Hocus Pocus and then mineral oil.

What are you cleaning off of them? Dirt, glue or rust and crud? I've used the hocus pocus before for just glue. If they're really cruddy soak overnight in diesel fuel with a touch of Wisk detergent. Use an old tooth brush on them or very fine steel wool. Be sure to spray a light coat oil on them afterwards.

Wanting to get off the grit and grime that builds up over time.
