I am looking to upgrade from my maroon andis clippers. I am just curious what people from SP use so I can do some research on the one that will best fit my needs.

I am also looking into upgrading from my old flat heads that are extremely loud! What kind of flat heads are people using?

I have a set of premier Hairheads that I use on my lambs and have used a couple times on calves.  I love them things!  They are very balanced making them easy for me to manuver and do a good job with.  Some people think they are kind of loud, but I don't really see them as any  louder than any other set of big clippers.  Plus, they have the 3 year warranty compared to 1 year with others.  Premier is great to work with and super quick to ship!  I have no more than a 2 week turnaround on sharpening blades from the day I send the box to the day I get them back--in the middle of hot n heavy show season.

Andis 5 Speeds for clipping hair only - NO GLUE.  I still use the silver 2 speeds for fitting and they work great.  I really think that once you clip through adhesive and paint, that it changes the clipper forever, so always have one set that you use for only hair.  Same goes for blades.
