We are currently looking at bulls to breed our cows to, and we are looking for suggestions for our Gert cows. They are purebred and traditional. We have no worries about their calves classing American. We bred to a Charolais and an Angus last year and the calves came out clearly American. Our goal is to produce calves that can compete in the American show ring. So, we are seeking out bulls that can provide thickness and a more showy, clubby look. As I'm sure you know, here in Texas the American ring is full of practically exotics calves with a little trash and ear. These guys can definitely afford to be cleaned up some. Thanks!

MILKMAN!!!! we are in the gert business as you can see in my alias and no american mix is as cood colored or as big boned as the gert x milkman star 5s. that breeding really clicks as long as the cows can have a big calf

Moderate framed maine bulls... most will class Gert or ABC if steers and you have a couple options if heifers... here are a couple of examples
