A high % of the steers that win have Heatwave or his son Monopoly influence.A lot of people thought they wouldn't make  good cows but if the mother was maternal enough there are many excellent cows that are working. Many South Dakota herds are stacked with club calf sired females and sell the calves real well.

I had heard that I 80 is heifer safe but wasnt sure. I would say if i could only fix one thing on my commercial cows i would say put morr strength and width thoughout there front ends so maybe he isn't the bull for the job.

Ya, honestly I had hoped you would come to that conclusion.  He isn't the right bull.

Here I Am is no doubt the bull I would choose.  He will stouten them up, and throw big time hair.

Who Made Who always worked on our plainer cows.  He is really consistent and his daughters were in really high demand for steer mama's not to long ago.

I have some semen in my tank and going to breed some commercial black angus cows to get a show steer for my son at county fair level. Terminal calves not replacement heifers. Biggest thing to improve on the cows I am breeding is they need more strength and power in front end. Out of these bulls who would you use...All in one, huff and puff, Harlem shake, the creature, I deliver, no worries, I da man. I know it is a broad question but any advise would be great. Those are the bulls I have in the tank. Thank you

I'd have to agree with Mark, but we have had really good luck using Maternal Perfection on plainer made cows.  He adds a lot of power and puts a great chest floor on them without making them puds, that's kind of what the Whiskey's are known for and they make surprisingly good steers too.  Just have to be careful since he's PHAC.  If you use I-80 make sure they are sound coming off their back wheels, on the right cow they're pretty good.
