For those of you who do not have a wash rack inside your barn, how do you handle washing and rinsing in the colder fall and winter months? How often do you wash or rinse if your only option is to do so outside? Do you skip washing/rinsing if the temperature falls below a certain number?

Just keep their bedding clean and sheen when possible. Try not to wash when below freezing and make sure blown completely dry

We rinse twice a day, no matter the weather, unless it's cold enough that we have to drain the water. Only time I really felt guilty about that was one time last year when ice cicles formed while we are rinsing. We are in Texas, so we generally don't have to worry too much about that.
