Well, I could be! I'm headed to Canada/US in December/January and trying to plan some farm visits. I will be staying with some fabulous people for Christmas ;) but don't have much planned beyond then, aside from Denver.
I'm coming across as the Aussie Shorthorn youth ambassador, so obviously that's my starting point but I'm keen to see good cattle of any breed. Also on the look out for any good stories!
Any and all suggestions are welcome! <cowboy>

Cmon out to A&T!  The 2009 Aussie youth ambassador, Martin Bertrame (spelling?) made a tour at our place and we had a blast!  We are only about 5 1/2 hours from Denver.  Private message me for details, you would be more than welcome.

I'm not sure if you will have time to swing through SE Saskatchewan or not but you are more than welcome to come here for a visit. Hopefully it is warmer than the last time you were here. I think you get the prize for the coldest herd tour we have had. If memory serves me right it was about -35 F with a stiff NW wind which created a windchill of about -55-60 F. Cows really don't like that weather any more than people do!  In any event, if you can stop in I would be more than pleased to show you the cows, the Touchdown, Leader and Leroy calves we have... regardless of the weather conditions

If I can get to Denver-Id like to do the display bulls with you-and any of my friends on SP-I know they arent pictured much or displayed-but there are clubby bulls and cattle down your way- EXAMPLE:Moombi Powerplay: who would be one right for today. He flew under the radar-around 1992.Would like to get yer take on whats there, and in general-the cattle in Denver-versus whats down under. Saw a video last night with "Frank the Farmer" or something like that-where he had some bulls up to the road-maybe 5 Shorthorns-an Angus,a Shorthorn Charolais cross (steer) etc. Although it was made for non-cattle people-it was cool to see Aussie cattle that are usefull-to compare. He preferred lighter boned maybe leggier cattle that could walk long distances-that kind of thing. AWESOME bartending skills, but no match for an Aussie  ;)  <beer> Had some great drinks last time, one I think was called the "Truth Serum" or similar, I don't recall letting any secrets out though  <rock>

I'm hoping to come an visit with you JIT, would love to see some of the calves, especially Touchdown and Leader. Would appreciate if you could put some nicer weather on this time though- it certainly was a memorable visit with both you and coyote!

Hi, we are located only two hours east of denver on I-70.  We have some very promising Angus bull calf prospects, sired mostly by limestones great divide, and Hoover Dam.  Not to mention an impressive group of replacement females as well. If you have a chance, we would like for you to come out and see what were about.  If your interested or have any questions you can reach me at 719-349-0073, or check out our website at www.bancroftcc.webs.com. The website will be able to give background, and shed some light on our herd, and what we are trying to accomplish. Thanks for your time.
