Here are a couple of calves sired by TG/RRA Complete 421U. Complete is a Steer Planet purchase and has done a great job so far. He is now back out with the cows as of last week and getting to work. His calves look awesome. They have all come unassisted, about 40 of them right now with only a couple to go. I'm sure we will be calving even earlier next year as he caught these cows up pretty nicely in one year already.

Complete calves at 6 months old and younger. With no creep and a severe drought this summer. Left ear tags are heifers, right ear tags are steers.

We will weigh them probably late next week when we wean them. I am thinking that they are 600-700 and only 5-6 months old. What seems unbelievable to me is now believable thanks to you good buddy! Thanks for selling me an awesome bull! <beer> (root beer)

I failed to mention but the thought of breeding these heifers to A&T Renegade has really got me excited and puts a funny feeling in my gut like Christmas morning as a kid...  (thumbsup)

Yeehaw!  I love the idea of mating the Complete daughters to Renegade!  I sold a dozen shorthorn x angus heifers bred to Renegade last saturday.  It broke my heart to sell em but its dry as hell here, feed is short and I managed to get a contract to buy the calves back out of these heifers so it could be a lot worse.  Congrats, the Complete calves look good as expected.

That's awesome that you are buying the calves back. Renegade did awesome breeding heifers for us this year. As a yearling bull he was with 19 heifers in the middle of a severe drought and 18 of 19 are preg checked safe within 30 days of each other. He looked a little rough when we took him off but within a couple weeks he is already growing and looking really good. He is also very docile still. It's nice having docile bulls that get to work and get it done. Now I guess I will have to decide how many of these Complete heifers I should keep around to breed to Renegade next summer? I can already guess your answer: ALL OF THEM!  <rock>

Sue, we are preparing to bring her to the Ohio Beef Expo to show off Complete genetics. It will probably be her, the 329 heifer, and the two Waco bulls.

Weaned 37 TG/RRA Complete calves which averaged 559 lbs. and 2.94 WDA with no creep, no grain to cows, and very little hay to the cows during a severe drought most of the summer. To say we are happy with that would be an understatement...  (thumbsup)

Now to find some feeder calf buyers...

We sold Clementine 705T in our 2007 to Rollling Rock Acres . She sold with a "entered in NAILE" and she stood 4th under Doug Satree.  I thought then and still do that this is pretty good for a $2200 heifer? I talked to Rolling Rock Acres yesterday and Joe's mom has used Mr Right for years and this is largely why you dont see recorded calves. .. 705T and her sisters are weaning heavy calves. It's great to see Complete carry this thru too.  I have a photo of 705 T on the the back drop ... just cant attach it.?
