Congrats to LSF!!!

I was looking through Shorthorn Country and stopped to look at the ad for the Iowa Royal Sale. Happened to recognize some of the calves. I believe LSF has 3 or so pictures that made the ad for the sale. It is a pretty big deal to have your cattle being the ones used to promote a sale, let alone having several being used. Great set of calves. Congratulations and good luck at the sale (clapping) <party>

Since they have three calves in the sale, I'd say that's real good haha.

I wasn't "blowing smoke" when I said that they were the "highlight" of the sale catalog, IMHO.  Just a quick glance & it was immediately obvious.  And that's no disrespect to the others pictured, because it looked like a nice offering.

I agree. Looks like a real good place for someone to pick up some outstanding genetics in really neat packages. The Leemon lots do seem to stand out above the rest pretty eaily, and as you said, that is no easy thing to do. (clapping)

I just now saw this thread and didn't want anyone to think (by my lack of response) that I was ungrateful for all the kind words.  This week has been pretty crazy and I haven't been on here much.  Our brother-in-law, Kevin Payne, is seriously ill and we have been busy doing what we can for the family.  He also has a bull entered in Iowa which we now have possession of and will be taking out there for him.  I don't feel right discussing the details on here but he could really use your prayers right now.  Thanks for noticing our sale pictures.  The boys worked really hard getting the cattle "show ready" for the pictures and it seems to be paying off (of course, the real test is next week in Iowa!).  All 3 of our entries were used in the sale ads and we are very pleased with that!  Again, thanks for the compliments.  It's been a rough week and finding this thread was a nice little surprise.

I agree! Your heifers look very nice in the sale catalog! Good Luck in Iowa!
