I believe the owner of that bull is a member of steer planet. His name is Scott Cowger.

His user name is SCowger. I talked to him today and let him know someone was asking questions, he said they just got some pics done on his calves and would post them here as soon as he could. I would go ahead and PM him for information.

He drew a lot of curiousity on my behalf. I'm a huge sucker for a GOOD red simmi. It'll be interesting to see what he does.

Homeboy was leased by a ranch in Kansas that used him on 40 club calf cows. Thats where most calf pics are from and he only touched one that came backwards. We bred some first calf heifers to him and had several ET calves out of him to only have to help one heifer at our place. They come big boned, stout and hairy. birthweights on our straight simmentals average around 80lbs. Their were obviously some higher birthweights in kansas but they were out of club calf cows.

What is tag 41? Do you have any pictures of ET calves out of purebred Simmi's?

Tag 41 is out of a mainexangus cross cow. We don't have any ET's out of PB simmi's on the ground ourselves yet but the W904xHomeboy heifer is out of the half blood BC Raven cow i have pictured here. The red heifer above her is an ET out of a PB Red Angus cow.

STF Sally Jo (dam of Homeboy) is a Too Red X Fredericka Too cow out of the Sivlertowne program, she was division winner at a yearling heifer and was a high sellling open at STF Sale as a calf.  These alves are truly proving out the worth of this bull  and he is flat getting the job done.

Please contac myself Scott Cowger 816/304-0371 or Andrew Lautt, Manager RS&T Simmentals LLC 620767-2156.  We are excited about the future of this bull and would recommend him to anyone.
