I may have an opportunity to acquire a refrigeration unit from a locker plant.  The condenser unit is a six fan unit and the compressor is a five HP.  They also have a Bohn single fan freezer with compressor.  I don't know any more specs at this time until I look at them this weekend.  I hope to build a cool room about 14 by 30 for three calves.  Does any body have any input or  knowledge  of what specs I should be looking for or what has worked for you?

Thanks!!

You need to know how many phase wiring it will take to run it, not all electric is the same.

They are all supposed to be single phase units, but that is one thing I had on my check list.

Thanks

Son you'll be able to hang those 3 beefs as sides. That unit should drop the temp down to about 38 in that size room. Be careful.
