Hoover Dam is a bull that breeders keep going back to.  There are a lot of people who love Sav Resource but his milk epd is a little lower. Coleman Charlo 0256 is another bull that you may look at.

Bulls come and go everyday so I am more concerned about looking a bit deeper in the pedigree.  Basically my ideal cowherd contains some mix of: EXT, SAV Net Worth (or Density), SAV Resource, TC Stout, HF Kodiak, Vermillion Dateline 7078, Sitz Upward.  There's plenty of ways to skin a cat but these are the combos that have worked for me.  The pedigree below is a heifer calf that pretty much combines all of those pieces.  Her granddam 82U is a Net Worth.

I'd have to agree with Cowboy_NYK about the cow side possibly being more important than the top. The maternal lines that he referenced are sure darn good ones. I especially like the EXTs, Density's, Net Worth's, & the Dateline's. I have no personal experience with the others mentioned myself.

Leachman Right time and his sons and grandsons have always gone well for me. Also from your name if you are an Aussie Ardrossan EquatorA241 leaves some great females. Also to throw HF Tiger in to the mix for great udders

Aussie is just splitting hairs now haha. Right Time is an EXT son and Tiger is a Kodiak son so I thought I had all those bases covered!  <beer>
