Do you mean for a call name?    My youngest has a theme going..    His last years heifer is Cucumber, her January sister who he is showing this year is Zucchini.  And ..  his March heifer is Pickles.    So I guess they could be called about anything you want...

We have one named BEE  Atch.  You can use your imagination as to what it really means.  My 14 year old daughter not being allowed to use the other word was imaginative and it stuck.  We all call this heifer BEE Atch.  ::)

My son named last year's steer "Beef", and we eventually started calling him "Beefy", and it stuck at that.

Sometimes if I can't come up with a name right off the bat I'll hold off because eventually it will come.

Right now we've got Lacy the heifer & Bumper, the steer.  The steer is a fat little toad & my wife and I thought it'd be cool to name him Moto Moto, after the hippo on Madagascar 2 but my daughter over-ruled us.  Bumper stuck.

You can also pick a movie, song or anything. This year my steer is Iceman, my brothers is Ghostrider, and my sisters is Cougar off of Top Gun. Next year were doing the song "Convoy" Rubber Duck, Pig Pen and Bear. You could do cutesy names for heifers like the I Love Lucy, or cartoons.

The cow name should already be established.  Only individual distinction should be your prefix and the animals ID number following cow name.
