The CRP deal is bad enough, but, around us the DNR is buying up all the ground that they can get their hands on. They get their own appraiser and they are jumping the prices on all the ground. Which in turn raises all of our taxes, AND they don't pay taxes and it takes all that ground out of the tax base for our schools and roads,ect...  I do not buy any ducks unlimited or pheasants forever memberships....

One more gripe....They applied for EQUIP money to seed down really good tillable ground. I am on the Soil and Water board and refused to sign my name for that, That money that we had was earmarked to put in solid settling basins and grass filter strips.

My spam filter lets all the crap through.  It's the actual business emails that I have to go check for daily.  I bet I'd get all of the BHMAA updates.  ;D

These wildlife agencies are running amok.  All these biologist/commies can think of is more governmental ownership of land.  Wyoming is 48% federally owned, not to mention the state lands on top of that and the lands owned by supposed "nonprofits" like Nature Conservancy.  Then once in governmental ownership, it becomes a political football managed by bureaucrats, environmentalists and the judiciary.  All this occurs while the government is broke.
