We like him a lot, clean, big boned, deep, sound, and colored.  Probably our favorite bull last year.

I have Dakota gold spring born that I'm taking to ft worth in February ----------- do they get good  hair back in fall and winter? 
Mine is red ----------he supposedly came from Minnesota

Seems like there have been some nice ones out of him this past spring and have sold well.  My personal experience with him wasn't worth a hoot though.  My biggest complaint of the calves on average are not sound enough and way too straight off both ends.  We bred him like he's advertised, to TH dirty cows.  I've talked to other breeders around that have seen many of the same problems too.  Not saying he can't raise decent ones because I have seen a few I like, but overall I would be cautious on what you breed him to.

Here is one of my Dakota Golds.  I like him, very docile.  Has enough hair for 2.
