My son has ran out of depth charge that he was one planning on using on his steer this week and two he uses it on his pigs every day.  We will have to go 1 week without it.  Has anyone used beet pulp for the same result of adding ribs to either there steer or pigs.  Or any other addidive for that matter.

thanks

I didn't have any success with depth charge. Heard beet pulp can do good. Look into Rowe nutrition as a new feed it does wonders on heifers. Call mr Rowe he will talk to you and help you out.

Stretch is very similar to Depth Charge and my steer liked it. I thought he expanded pretty well on it. It also comes in 50 lb bags.

Approx how much beet pulp would you feed a 1300lb steer that needs more spring of rib?

The strech product i have had  a lot of luck with.  We use dc and bp but our cattle would not eat the dc very well .  so we us bp and strech and it works great.
