Did genex drop all of its shorthorn sires?

Starting to plan for breeding season and noticed genex is offering no shorthorn sires online. Anyone have a answer?

Genex has one Shorthorn bull in its added attractions catalog at the ery end behind the Normande bulls.

They used to have 6-7 sires in the searchable catalog now when you click on it it says there aren't any animals available. Guess I'll just have to talk to my rep.

I dont know where you are located-but alot of the bulls I see them carry of different breeds are pretty mediocre-SEK Genetics, Cattle Visions, Bovine Elite and a host of others have lotsa good bulls and can ship anywhere O0

I agree, they carried one shorthorn bull that clicked really well on one of our larger framed cows. Guess I should have ordered a cane last time.

Who was he-Im sure we can steer you where to find it or put my 2 cents in on one that would also work well-CALVING EASE beeing priority 1 Thick butt and rid number 2-etc O0

I know he has bad Ce but this cow is 1800 lbs and shoots out 120 lb calves with ease.

One of the easiest calving Trump sons (still available-ALM Chiller is gone) there is-is WKF Oldschool-Hes the sire of Abertees Professor-A very well known and heavily used club bull-who is also a reasonable calver-Hes on Genetic Horizens and Cattle Visions-HD Swagger (same availibility)would be along the lines of Colin-probably higher quality show wise. Mitchell Shorthorns in Iowa MITCH on here:has a VERY good bull called Diezel-I saw him on cows as a long yearling: his dam etc. The cool thing about WHR Colin is his granddam Cedar Curve Colleen-an AWESOME part maine doner that was famous in the breed-Jay Benham in Ohio had a direct son of her-SIRED by WHR Sonny (big time Shorthorn Sire for years) I saw a daughter (never seen him) and flushed to him-Stone Springs Barn Burner (SEK CATT visions) is also sired by him.His name is Stone Springs Rising Son O0
