Just depends what you have. All the calves I have seen are really good necked and are thick enough but for me they don't have enough depth or rib. If you have Angus heifers he'd probably be fine though.

I've been interested in using him too. How does he do on PB Simmental? Is lack of depth still an issue?

Yes, I'd say that is pretty much his biggest issue, Simmi's included. I've seen quite a few calves by him out of PB Simmi's and they are really nice haired, nice fronted, and thick enough and have ample bone, but just aren't deep enough. They look really nice as youngsters but I've never seen a senior yearling or a mature cow out of him that blows me away. I think a bull that is similar to him is Milestone. I have 2 heifers and a bull calf by him and they look AWESOME. They are a lot like the Salution's except there is just more to them. I haven't heard how everyone else's Milestone calves look, but mine are way better than I ever expected. But I'd say if you use Salution, make sure your females have a ton of body and you'll probably be okay.
