I am up for a new phone, and now that Verizon is getting the I-Phone, I have a decision to make.  Any recommendations?  Anyone have experience with both?  Thanks for any comments.

i think the verizon iphone gets the 3g and not 4g?

look up coverage ratings in your area.  in my area, att has a bad rep and probably more dropped calls than verizon.

Get the droid, no question.  Android is a far superior interface and will evolve faster than the iphone in the os itself, along with the apps.  Iphone got the earlier start, but the cross platform and openness will push the development of droid at much faster rate.

the problem with some technology is that it evolves too fast and keeping one's technology compatible becomes a nightmare, something microsoft is an expert at, though apple has some of the same problems.

i just need a phone to have big numbers, bigger text buttons.  i don't need email and apps.

I went from a blackberry to a droid.  We have verizon.  I had the blackberry for 3 to 4 years and I hated the tracker ball in it.  I did learn to navigate the BB pretty good..  So now I have this droid,  the keys are bigger and the screen is bigger but I am literally at the top of my technological capabilities..  I am barely able to use the darn thing.  I really need less technology - wonder if I still have my original bag phone and if it will still work.

i have the iphone...the iphone will not allow you to have flash on it but the droid will...thus, you can watch movies and even watch the sales at liveauctions.tv on the droid but not the iphone...get the droid...

I recently got the samsung fascinate, and its the best phone I have had. My brother has a droid and a friend of mine has the droid X and neather hold a stick to this phone. The droids are constantly freezing. this phone never does, it has talk to type, swipe, apos, everytging and the camera is absolutely amazing. Ill post an example later today. oh and its a nice size too. Tough to, I ran it over the other day and dident even scratch it...also took a slight bath, no problems.

I've had the new Droid for about two months, and although it took some serious getting used to (I had a flip phone prior) I love it now.  I also have Verizon, because I live in the middle of nowhere, and A T & T has no service out here.  Everyone at my office have I phones, and I don't see any reason to change my Droid for one.. plus it would be VERY expensive to switch, which makes it a no brainer not to.
