My Show steer has patches of white dry flaky skin on the middle of his back. We wormed him about two weeks ago he's got little hair where its dry and flaky. So Whats going on, and how can I fix it?  ???

When you wormed him did you use a pour on?  If so I am willing to bet that is your problem.

take a bucket and add mane n tail conditioner then fill with water and sponge on him then pour the rest down his back let it sit about 2 min. then rinse out. We also rinse brush and blow 3 times a day and each time we spray well with kleen sheen comb and blow it in as well. Good luck hope this will help

That's your problem. Never use pour-on on haired show cattle. I recommend Safe-guard in a tube. That's what I've always used and I've never had a problem with worms.

Add some vinagar to your show sheen. if you brush, then sheen every time before you brush.
