We took our fair steers to weigh in  and i had them to worm them with the poor on wormer i waited the alloted time before we washed them and i have one that skin has dried out really bad and started to flake awful i could greatly use the advice on what would help

I'd wash them, and then put some conditioner in a bucket and add a couple gallons of water in it and toss it over their backs, brush in and then blow dry. Then go a take some Vinager/kleen sheen and spray on them and blow in

It will probably take more then one wash to cure this problem. It happens to me once a year it seems. The kleen sheen will really help also.

Jill's suggestion will work.  If you have some Revive handy that helps moisturize the skin also.  Tail adhesive can cause problems when used on hot days.  I usually spray down the legs and top later in the day when we are tying out or at home and it eliminates dandruff.
