What are your thoughts of using him on a PB Simm heifer?  Would like show calves out of her, but the first go around, we will see.  Thanks for input.

Up North- isn't there better BW Angus bulls? Not really up on Angus but I think if your trying to get a live calf for the first go around might be other choices. I'm sure the Angus people have better ideas than I do.
The SimmixAngus cows are really hot now. Look at some of the good maternal cows out there & that's their lines. The OCC line seems to work really well w/ Simmi cows.

I wouldn't use him on a simmi heifer. Reasons: Too high birth weight, adds too much stretch, takes away to much capacity.
I would suggested: Lut, sired by Lutton. He sires low birth weight calves, add plenty of depth of rib, adds style.
Would also recommend OCC Legend: Does the same, but to a bigger extent. Adds loads of muscle thickness and expression. He will change the cow type.
Juneau is always a safe choice for siring nice, functional show calves.

All of these will do a much better job on a simmi heifer than will Lutton. Plus you'll save your heifer a lot of problems!!
