She's a Texas Star x (Milkman x Simbrah) born last June. Trying to decide on a bull to use and looking for opinions.

She looks like a real keeper.  I would turn her in my pasture, even up here in Illinois.

I know next to nothing about these cattle and southern shows in general, but I'd sure breed her first time for a live calf.

If you feel she is good enough, you could flush her to a clubby bull for others to carry the calves.  I see ABC calves sell for good money down south.

Appreciate it, that's the plan. For the first calf she'll be bred to something that I've used before, maybe angus.

The American steers are rockin and rollin down here so she'll probably be flushed the second go around (maybe third).
