He has a different twist to his pedigree, being a YR Black Conoy 27R( LCL Tarmac x Red Dog(Zima) and out of TLSS Sassy Queen 61S, a3C Macho daughter that is leading our donor pen, We have 6 Et's out of her this year and are expecting 12 ET calves next year out of her. Half of her progeny have white faces with all being sired by solid black bulls.

I'm not to crazy about the way his tailhead sets in... Is he just holding it up in that picture?? I know you didn't ask for opinions, I was just making a general observation...G-Luck with him

We plan on taking him to a few small shows this summer and then taking him to the Canadian National Show in November at Edmonton. We are also thinking that he might be worth taking to Denver. here is a picture of his mother taken last fall.

Also he has a nice tailhead, just lifted his tail in  the picture

Very nice calf.  Deep bodied and plenty of muscle.  What's his age?

He is a early January calf, birth weight of 85 lbs. Thanks for the great comments, we are super happy with what his mother is doing for us and can't wait to see this calf develop.
