hows the semen quality on him? bred three and no one took to him. I'm considering eather testing one straw in case it was a bad batch, or using double straws the next time I we go to breed. The rest bred to clubbys or purebreds took first shot, so I don't believe it was our AI technique. Any input?? Its also been in the same tank, and was shipped the same time as the rest of the semen.

We have used him for 3 straight breeding seasons with the semen coming from 2 different companies.  We haven't had any conception issues.

Forgot to mention, we also split straws successfully as well.

We bred three cows to eye candy this spring and all three took first try so we haven't had problems with him. It could be a coincidence or the semen could have not been properly handled at some point before you recieved it.

Thankyou for the input, looks like ill have to sacrifice a straw to be tested.
