eyes on the money

How crazy are eyes on the money calves? we bred him to our brahman cow and i was wondering so i know when to start horsing with it to get it broke. Thanks

I don't think they are crazy... just stubburn and little spooky.. Now crossed with a Brahman, that could be a different story  ;)  Jus kiddin, he will prolly take some extra time..

we ususally try to mess with the calves from the time they are born. When it comes time to break we usually do'nt have too much of a hard time.

yeah we try and start messing with them from day 1 also just this cow is mean i think we will just get a milk cow and put it on her when she calves in january so i can go out there without having to turn into chris johnson

I have had several and they were nice calves with good dispositions but in my herd, the moms seem to have more to do with that than the sires.

I agree with you on that one. I think it is a mix of the sire and dam. Every calf we have had trouble breaking seem to follow his mother's temperament.
