1st - Is Sunseeker a red carrier?  If so, it's a Sunseeker, otherwsie a Heat Wave out of a Charolais cross cow.

Sunseeker is a red carrier - found this out myself (red calf out of a black cow that i didn't think was a carrier!) - but heat wave is a red carrier also. just food for thought!

Very nice looking group of calves.  Most of you proably know I'M  A  little partial TO THE SMOKE'S AN cHAROLAIS  by watching some of my post's , but I really liked the Olson cattle, have quite a little of the Kris Black influence , but really nice calve's.  I'll try to get picture's one of these days.

I saw the fall calves at the Fred Ranch....  They're good....  Definitely worth the trip to the sandhills to see them.

Snapped some pics of three week old calves this afternoon while trying to stay away from watching Deiter..

1st - Is Sunseeker a red carrier?  If so, it's a Sunseeker, otherwsie a Heat Wave out of a Charolais cross cow.

2nd - Wave on Wave out of one of RSC's donors.

3rd - Same flush as 2nd.

Those HW calves look good.  Keep us updated with pics....

All of these fall born calves really make me want to start breeding for some.  I usually calve from January thru March and waiting until the next January for some new babies always drives me nuts!

tell me about it, we just switched over from a fall calving season to a spring, and I keep thinking that I should be going out checking heifers.    <cowboy>

I did not get as many pictures taken this afternoon as i would have liked too. Maybe more tomorrow.

This is a Sunseeker out of a Who Made Who female that has done very well for us in the past.

Didn't look at pictures on this page yet.  Nice calf, love the markings.

Thank you RSC. I love his markings too. He is really cool looking from a frontal view. We are hoping he keeps progressing like he is now.

Yeah, i was very pleased with our sunseekers this year. you can pick faults on all of them of course, but they all just have that look. I think we will be breeding back with alot of sunseeker as well.

This is a proud jazz about 3 weeks old.  Out of a fuzzy vision cow, may market him as a bull.

Really like the top calf. Naughty Pine sharp.
I saw quiet a few sunseekers a week ago. It seems like you said they are flashy and have the look but were on the larger side.
