here's a later pic of the pendleton calf.  the one to the left is a major's money man who so far needs to be softer on her pasterns.  the pendleton calf is the deepest one i've had, which are usually like the one to the left.
she definitely doesn't have the clubby look people are looking for, but she's the best calf i've had by far and if she has any of the volume her mother does, then i've found at least one replacement for her.

Sounds like everyones calves are looking good this year.

Chambero, I have not followed up on our sunseeker that we sold through kris. I never found out who he sold to, but i am going to next time i talk with kris.

If our weather will let us i will get a few pictures this next weekend. It has stayed so nasty here for the past month i haven't got a chance to get any.  We do want to invite everyone out to take an early look at our calves this year. Just give as a call and we'd love to show you the cattle and visit with you.

We didn't have as good of conception rate this year due to having such a hard fall and winter last year but i can say that this is by far the best set of calves i have had to date.

here's our only calf thus far, the others are a mear days away...

polar express purebred, about week old

we like him, and will be using PE again.

here's a few of our fall borns. The first one is a heifer out of our herd sire an Ali son and the second one is a bull/steer out of our herd sire. The last one is a Rocky Balboa bull/steer.

Have two great steers so far out of ArSuLu Legacy 65, but they are out of outstanding cows too.
