I'm new to this site and think it rocks.  A couple months ago there was talk about Red Northline Fat Tony.  Here is a picture of him at Denver and two of his calves.

He's a pretty good looking bull! I also really like the depth that the bottom heifer has! What is his breeding? Is he Red Angus? I feel like I have heard of him before...

I really like Fat Tony, especially as a option for heifers. Bred him to the heifer in my avatar she is a clubby sunskeeker x mainex, then breed him to another shorthorn x maine heifer that is going to be one great cow, also bred him to two other PB red angus heifers! Love that bottom heifer, I would take those all day.

Thanks to everyone that used him. We appreciate the support in our herd and the bull. All the calves I've seen have been small at birth and unassisted calving. (The -4.3 BW is pretty bang on.) The one thing I have noticed about his calves is that they stay small til about the 2-3 month mark before they really start growing but by the time they're 6-8 months old they've caught up and passed alot in the pen. I don't think that's all that bad either. I'd rather have them get better with age then get worse. I'll take a picture of the heifer calf in a few months and you'll see what I mean. She'll b right on par with the yearling in the bottom pic.

I really love this bull and plan on using him someday.

If I'm not mistaking... I *think* cattle visions has him in their catalog. I'm pretty sure that is where I saw him but I have so many sire cataogs around my house it's ridiculous  ::)
