I was curious as to what people's favorite breeds are? I know mine start with Angus, Belted Galloways, Limmy and Simmy! I would even put Hereford on my list but if I was to buy these are the ones that I would go for first. I know a lot of people like the Maines, Chi's, Sailors and what not. Would love to hear everyone's input.  ;D

My favorites are the Simmentals and the Gelbviehs. Both breeds do well with the Angus Breed making the SimAngus & Balancers which are both nice. I like the Black Simmentals over the Black Gelbviehs and the Red Gelbviehs over Red Simmentals.

Hereford, Simmy, Shorthorn, Maine and Char. , but have a hard time finding what I like to use the Char on. I use Angus every year on my heifer and really like that cross for all kinds of potential crosses.

I've grown up with Herefords, but am starting to prefer the Gelbvieh and Simmental, and when it comes to crossbred, I love balancers, as well as MaineTainers.

My favorite breeds are Simmental and Hereford. I like using Angus and Char to cross with the above breeds, but I like Simmis and Herefords because I show them and have experience with them. My Simmental X Hereford cows are great mothers.

How dare you say that Heather :p Herefords are where it's at! Leave 'em purebred or cross them for a nice hybrid. But in all fairness any breed has postives and negatives, I'm just used to my Herefords.

Charolais and red angus Charolais have come a long ways and the new age Charolais are moderate big ribbed and sound. Buckskins are great tops

I like Angus and Lowlines! I like the look of clubbies but there are more bad than good ones cause they don't preform as well as some of the other breeds. Most of the clubs are just registered crossbreeds!!!
