I have been around many breeds of cattle.  I still like my Galloway cattle.  I have raised fullbloods for 30 years.

Herefords all the way baby!
Haha we raise herefords, both standard and miniatures. However I enjoy seeing and learning about every breed. If I ever went out of my red and white world I would look at British whites and Char. Also wish we had more American breeds in my area just to learn more about them

Aren't two of the FOUNDING HERDS of Beefmasters located in Colorado? To my knowlege, the Lasater's cows will dig under the snow as well as any non-eared cow will in their immediate area.

since getting put on the back of our lim bull Chief almost thirty years ago every night while dad fed the bulls in the dry lot I have loved the suckers.    Not clubby looking for the most part, but when it comes to hanging red meat they are tough to beat and we have always had gentle ones that make pretty good mama's  Used to get my 4-h calves out of quarter angus quarter limi half maine cows bred back to our limi polled power son.  LONG time ago it seems like now.

good cattle is good cattle though ;)
