Favorite Breed of cattle

I thought it might be interesting to see what everyone's favorite breed of cattle was and why. Mine is Chi and Maine Anjou because i like the looks of the chi and maine anjou cattle and how they always do well in the show ring for me.

Mine is Simmy. They are versatile! Performance, maternal, style, carcass.....you can have it all with Simmy's!!

Well, my favorite breed alone is Angus. But give me a a choice between Angus and a LimFlex™, and I'll go LimFlex™ every time!

Shorthorn, Maine, and a Mainetainer/ShorthornPlus mix.

Shorthorn. 

After several years of showing several different breeds for other people I chose the Red Angus breed. While thet are probably less show oriented than most breeds, I think they put togather more desireable traits than the other breeds I had worked in. I have experimented with a couple of other breeds (Angus and Hereford) thinking that they would compliment the Reds but in the end the reds stayed and the others left. RW

Shorthorns are pretty special to me but I like good cattle no matter what breed they are.  We also have Mainetainers, Shorthorn Plus, and few clubby breds.

i like cattle in their original colors.  it doesn't matter what breed it is.  this is inclusive of "purebreds" such as the bred up breeds such as the new chi's, maine's, gelbvieh, sim etc.

pretty much all they need for me is cow breath.

Started out with Maines, still have a couple but we have done well with shorthorns. We love their dispositions.

I agree. What happenned to breed character? Remember that from Judging?
