I am with you TMB cattle. How do they justify $$$ that on a terminal animal?

By cloning him.

$48000 investment
$20000 cell line
if you batch the clones and make several copies at once
first clone $15000
second    $14000
third        $13000
fourth      $12000
fifth          $11000

$133000 invested what is the expected return?

unless it has changed just recently it only cost 1500 to take the ear sample (cell line) on a calf...maybe you are grouping other costs  in there to i'm not sure

To establish a cell line is not 1500 from what i researched. A cell line from what i understood is the material that will eventually be cloned. Not the taking of an actual sample. That would sample harvest.

I personally think Larrisons tag 76 calf was pretty good. Nice picture but better video!

That is unfortunate. Sorry about your luck :-\
He is a really complete calf. He is not too big and definitely not too small. Great hair and structurally sound. He will look like a million bucks those folks know how to take of one.
